On April 29, 2026, alumnus Yogesh Patil, currently with Thermax, Pune, delivered an insightful guest lecture on "Pump Selection," serving as a vital bridge between industrial practice and academic theory. The session, which provided students with valuable real-world perspectives, was successfully coordinated by Dr. S.L. Bhagat.
The technical event titled "Recent Trends in Chemical Engineering" was successfully conducted on April 2, 2026, at PVPIT Sangli (MH) as part of the Nirmiti 2026 symposium. The initiative aimed to provide students with a professional platform to explore and present emerging advancements in the field, while simultaneously encouraging innovation, technical knowledge sharing, and the development of presentation skills. The event saw active participation from 17 student groups and was adjudicated by Prof. S.B. Mohite of the Civil Engineering Department. The successful execution of the paper presentation was coordinated under the guidance of Dr. P.B. Dhanke.
