Established in 2014-15 as the Department of Electrical Engineering, the department evolved into Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2022-23, reflecting its commitment to skill-based, industry-aligned education. The department offers a curriculum that blends strong theoretical foundations with hands-on practical training, backed by state-of-the-art infrastructure and modern learning resources.
Our program is built to equip students with the technical expertise, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills demanded by today's fast-evolving engineering landscape. Through a strong emphasis on experiential and hands-on learning, we ensure our graduates step into their careers ready to apply their knowledge effectively and make meaningful contributions to the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
The department also offers an M. Tech in Electrical Engineering, launched in 2017-18 with an intake of 24 students, extending our commitment to advanced education and research.
